Oak Framed Mirror

The mirror frame is solid oak, not MDF wrapped in veneer, so it has a weight you can actually feel in your hands. The glass is clear mirror glass, four millimeters thick, set into the frame on a gasket so it does not rattle. The corners of the frame are mitered and reinforced with a dowel that holds the joint together from the inside. The back has a hanging fitting ready for a screw, and it easily supports even a heavy oak frame. The surface is oiled, so the wood darkens a little over time and the frame only looks better for it. It suits an entryway or a bedroom, anywhere you want a mirror that will outlast the apartment it currently hangs in.
